These terms are the agreement between you and Adrian (“we”, “us”) when you use the Lumen service at lumen.qubitgt.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Lumen.
1. What Lumen does
Lumen is a hosted platform for creating AI chatbots. You can train them on your own documents and websites, customize their appearance, and embed them on any site you control. Inference runs on hardware we operate; your data does not leave our infrastructure unless you explicitly configure a bot to use a third-party AI provider via your own API key.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Lumen. Some features may require you to be older depending on your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and Google account secure. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One person, one account. Don't share login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account, including bots you create and content you upload.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lumen to:
- Build bots that knowingly spread misinformation, illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else's rights
- Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate others
- Generate or distribute child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other content prohibited by law
- Build a service that primarily exists to bypass safety filters on language models
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without prior written consent (responsible disclosure to hi@qubitgt.com is welcome and encouraged)
- Resell raw Lumen API access or rebrand the dashboard as your own product without a written agreement
- Bypass rate limits, plan limits, or usage controls
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For severe or illegal violations we may act without prior notice.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload to Lumen — your documents, your system prompts, your branding, your bots' conversations. By using Lumen, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, embed, retrieve, and serve your content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. We do not use your content to train models or for any other purpose.
You confirm that you have the right to upload anything you upload — that you own it, have permission from whoever does, or that it's in the public domain.
5. End users of your bots
When you embed a Lumen bot on your website, the visitors talking to that bot are your end users. You are responsible for telling them they're talking to an AI, for your own privacy disclosures regarding that interaction, and for complying with any laws that apply in their jurisdiction (consumer protection, data protection, AI disclosure rules, etc.).
6. Plans, billing, and refunds
- Free plan is free. We may change the free-tier limits with reasonable notice.
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Charges are non-refundable except where required by law, but you can cancel any time and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- If we materially reduce a paid plan's features mid-cycle, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused portion pro rata.
- We may change pricing for paid plans with at least 30 days' notice.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but we don't promise it. Lumen is provided as-is. The service may have downtime for maintenance, hardware failures, provider outages, or for reasons outside our control. We will tell you about planned maintenance when we can.
8. AI output
Language models can produce inaccurate, biased, offensive, or fabricated content. You understand this. You are responsible for reviewing the output of your bots before relying on it for anything important — medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or otherwise consequential. Lumen does not warrant that bot output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. We can suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, for non-payment, or for legal reasons. On termination, your data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
10. Disclaimers
Lumen is provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to Lumen will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, regardless of legal theory.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims and damages arising from your content, your use of Lumen, or your breach of these terms — including claims brought by your end users.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we'll email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
